| Test Results & Comments | Key exchange completed OK! But, the encrypted data transmission using the new key was not performed properly by PathBuilder. (SafeNet sends the encrypted packet to PathBuilder properly, but PathBuilder returns unencrypted (clear text) traffic back to SafeNet). We were ALL a bit stunned by this, but believe that PathBuilder couldn't properly handle the Peer encryptor and the Target as the same IP address. In this case as the target is not sitting behind the VPN encryptor gateway, but being a VPN client, the client itself becomes the peer VPN encryptor (albiet not a gateway). |
